If I want to move several directories that are currently immediately below the / directory on the root file system and put them on another disk, what mount point should I give it? For example, I'd like to put /home and /var on /dev/sbd1. If I just want to move /home, this is easy, since I just need to make a mount point called /home for /dev/sbd1. But I'm uncertain of how to go about getting /var and /home both over there? Or is it only possible to have them both on one partition if they are directly under the / directory?
