DOS is used by a huge number of engineers in various imbedded systems and
dedicated systems like for robots. Now if it could be made "modern" with 
TCP/IP a browser, etc., and still kept small and use all the familiar DOS
commands and batch files that people have developed, as well as the programing
languages that work on these special systems and "old" chips, that would
be great.  And that's what Caldera has done with DRDOS, which has
always been better than MSDOS.

But Linux is even better.  Can it be run as powerfully in as small a footprint as DRDOS? These electronic engineers that use DRDOS are true techies, and should go for Linux in a big way.

Now the question that first popped into my mind was, "Why isn't
Caldera positioning it's Linux distribution instead of DR-
DOS????"
