Hi, I found what was causing the problem with acroread. For my jap. Netscape to work with I installed kinput and put the following lines in my .xsession file: if [ -x /usr/X11R6/bin/kinput2 ] ; then /usr/X11R6/bin/kinput2 & XMODIFIERS="@example.com=kinput2" export XMODIFIERS fi This causes acroread to crash. To avoid that, you have to put a line like: export XMODIFIERS= into the acroread batch file. Easily fixed, just hard to find :).
