Well, I'm going to find out today when I install linux onto my
new K6-2 300Mhz. :-)  I "ll let you know how fast it is....  My guess
is that the increased system bus will allow a significant speed
increase because it boosts the overall speed of data transmission
on the Motherboard.  There also should be a significant increase in
memory access too, because the newer motherboards require 
SDRAM with a seek time of under 8ns.
