Gee, the list is really quiet today, I must be almost the only one at work :-) Can new SCSI drives (that is Wide, Ultra, Fast, Fast Wide, UltraFastBigWideHonkingDriveThatNeedsItsOwnGenerator) be hooked up to plain old SCSI controllers? That is, if I popped a new (or newer, anyway) SCSI drive into a Sparcstation 2, would that work with its SCSI controller? If so, are any adapters required? Yeah, I know the drive will probably have more CPU power than the machine :-) Thanks, Jonathan Byrne Media and Content Section 3Web - Your Internet Solution! <URL:http://www.threeweb.ad.jp/index.en.html> 3Web Channel <URL: http://www.3web.co.jp/> -------------------------------------------------------------- Next Nomikai: 18 September, 19:30 Tengu TokyoEkiMae 03-3275-3691 Next Meeting: 10 October, Tokyo Station Yaesu central gate 12:30 -------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsor: PHT, makers of TurboLinux http://www.pht.co.jp
