I think Dan's mad at me. pobox is there, koobera is there, but it won't admit that any of those files exist. 'Course, maybe Dan's redefined the FTP? Yup, that's exactly what he did; my usual WWW client wants a directory listing and he won't give it. Netscape works randomly. Check out this transcript from ncftp: Trying to connect to koobera.math.uic.edu... Hi there! This is anonftpd. Hi. No need to log in; I'm an anonymous ftp server. > ls Sorry, I don't see that file. > ls www Sorry, I don't see that file. > ls www/ Sorry, I don't see that file. > ls /www Sorry, I don't see that file. > ls /www/proto/design.html Sorry, I don't see that file. > get /www/proto/design.html Sorry, I don't see that file. design.html: design.html: 3505 bytes received in 0.22 seconds, 15.64 kB/s. I guess actually it's not just me, Dan's mad at the world. -- University of Tsukuba Tennodai 1-1-1 Tsukuba 305-8573 JAPAN Institute of Policy and Planning Sciences Tel/fax: +1 (298) 53-5091 -------------------------------------------------------------- Next Nomikai: 18 September, 19:30 Tengu TokyoEkiMae 03-3275-3691 Next Meeting: 10 October, Tokyo Station Yaesu central gate 12:30 -------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsor: PHT, makers of TurboLinux http://www.pht.co.jp
