3,600 yen at T-Zone in Akihabara.  Nihongo-ban has printed doco in
Japanese (of course) but I suspect you can beg an eigo-ban manual off of
the PHT guys (or borrow one from the TLUG library).

And, of course, there is much more English documentation available for
Linux than Japanese.
