The below quote is from one of the related articles. Does anyone know more about the win95 clone? Is that the same as the project to run windows binaries, or a replacement desktop with win95 look 'n' feel? --------------- A standard interface. This issue will prove hardest of all because it flies in the face of the Linux gestalt. Itfs not a technical issue. At least one firm has already built a Win95 clone. Rather itfs the problem of getting the fiercely independent Linuxites to agree to a single standard. Remember, the core community is made up of Unix geeks who think graphical interfaces are for sissies. ------------ Darren -------------------------------------------------------------- Next Nomikai: 18 September, 19:30 Tengu TokyoEkiMae 03-3275-3691 Next Meeting: 10 October, Tokyo Station Yaesu central gate 12:30 -------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsor: PHT, makers of TurboLinux http://www.pht.co.jp
