Hi all, This is only tangentially important to Linux users in that it concerns freedom of choice. Remember when the US Congress tried to restrict what could be lawfully (in the US) placed on the Internet through the Communications Decency Act? I read parts of the Star report - no way would it have been allowed under that law. If M$ has greater power over the desktop than Congress has over the US constitution... <sigh> http://www1.harenet.or.jp/~schweiz/faic.html Regards, Jim S. -------------------------------------------------------------- Next Nomikai: 18 September, 19:30 Tengu TokyoEkiMae 03-3275-3691 Next Meeting: 10 October, Tokyo Station Yaesu central gate 12:30 -------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsor: PHT, makers of TurboLinux http://www.pht.co.jp
