An unofficial survey of the headers of posters to this ML indicates that quite a few of you use Mew on Emacs or especially XEmacs for your email. As a Linux wannabe still mainly using NT, I find Becky! Internet Mail meets my needs pretty well: -- polling multiple POP servers automatically -- filtering and all that -- displaying html posts -- multiple, visible signatures -- template support -- threaded views -- simple configuration How much of this functionality is provided by the Mew-Emacs combination, how much is provided by other processes, and is any of this not available? In the last case, what email programs provide all of the above effectively? -- John De Hoog, Tokyo <dehoog@example.com> washi@example.com Visit Washi's Scrapbook: http://washi.nu for truth and beauty --------------------------------------------------------------- Next Meeting: 10 October, 12:30 Tokyo Station Yaesu central gate Next Nomikai: 20 November, 19:30 Tengu TokyoEkiMae 03-3275-3691 --------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsor: PHT, makers of TurboLinux http://www.pht.co.jp
