Jonathan I installed TL2.0J into IDE4.3GB HD a few days ago. There was no problem. I just made two partition 4.1GB for Linux and 200MB for swap. It's works fine now. I saw same 'over 1024 cylinders' alert on fdisk when I installed RH5.0 to 2.5GB HD , but I ignored it. Finally, it worked. I installed LILO to MBR. At first, check BIOS, if BIOS recognized 6.4GB HD as 'LBA', I think it works. I was told some old BIOS couldn't recognize over 2.5GB HD. I have 'bad habbit(?) ' these days. When I get Windows machine, erase HD then install Linux and connect to 10Base-T HUB in my work room. :-} The only one who dosen't know linux is PowerMac8500/120. I tell her every night 'MkLinux is waiting for you.' PS: If I said something wrong, please let me know. --------------------------------------------------------------- Next Meeting: 10 October, 12:30 Tokyo Station Yaesu central gate Featuring the IMASY Eng.
