Dear Groupies, some days ago my screen vanished into horizontal stripes while working in xvwm95. It starts with a few muti-colored stripes, but the number increases rapidly and at a few seconds later there're just stripes left and the pc doesn't accept any keybord- or mouse command. After rebooting ( and the usual hdd-check)I got the same problem again, but when I tried it once more some hours later I was able to work in the grafical environment without any problem. Can anybody give me a clue?
