During the last meeting I used fips15c in Redhat5.1 CD. I also installed Redhat5.1 at /dev/hda2 on your Compaq. Urs succeeded to install SuSE5.3 on your Compaq. > The clarified illustrations given by the group members has been highly > appreciated but no one up to now give some instructions about how to > create the fibs or fdisk from the the running S.u.S.E Linux 5.3 > system?. You are finding 'fips'. I don't have SuSE5.3 CDs. So I checked mirror-site of SuSE. <ftp://ftp.lab.kdd.co.jp/Linux/packages/SuSE-Linux/5.3> fips exist at <ftp://ftp.lab.kdd.co.jp/Linux/packages/SuSE-Linux/5.3/dosutils/fips> Here comes another problem. There are fips15 and fips20. I don't know which is equal to fips15c in Redhat5.1. But give it a try. I guess fips exist under \dosutils\fips on your SuSE5.3 CD.
