tlug: pslogin (of mirrordir)?

Has anyone used 'pslogin' (of the mirrordir package, sunsite in
/pub/Linux/system/backup) or read good/bad things about its security?
It claims to be a replacement for ssh that uses Diffie-Hellman key
exchanges and "strong stream cypher encryption."
