Hi, I have been trying to use xquake on my laptop, but since I have the X server set to 16bpp, all of the colors are distorted and etc. I have heard that it is possible to use the Xnest experimental nested X server to use 8bpp programs simultaniously within a 16 bpp enviorment, but the documentation was unclear on how to do this, and I am stuck after fiddling around with the command line options. I would appreciate any help regarding this matter. Thanks in advance, Austin K. Kurahone PS:I would use squake but it doen't seem to like my Chips and Tech. card (On my laptop), and ttyquake is just too confusing for me to use. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ---------------------------------------------------------------- Next Nomikai: 20 November, 19:30 Tengu TokyoEkiMae 03-3275-3691 Next Technical Meeting: 12 December, 12:30 HSBC Securities Office ---------------------------------------------------------------- more info: http://tlug.linux.or.jp Sponsors: PHT, HSBC Securities
