Not running named on this box and can ping localhost.... After a bit more investigation, this seems to be an X problem. >From the console, I can telnet localhost OK, but from X, I can't. Whatever is causing this is probably causing navigator4.5 to fail as well. (Nav3 and 4.05 work fine, as does xset, xsetroot etc after I restart X, btw) Still puzzeled, mutter mutter....
