Well, yeah, but what I really mean is "not letting itself be managed
by the package manager." I don't see how replacing Kinput2 without
making an appropriate entry in the RPM database is acceptable behavior.

Ii naaaa!
Yeah, I know memory's cheap these days. But having just bought a new
hard disk and a Python book and ApplixWare-J ....
Oh well. I appreciate the tip, even if I lack the memory to take *full 
advantage* of it.
