tlug: .htaccess

Somebody just asked me if there's a way to restrict access via .htaccess
to a range of IP addresses and require a password for all others.  I
don't have any Apache stuff here at work.  Any ideas?  (The IP addresses
might turn out to be in two separate ranges.)
