First I tried Applix > Mail, which satisfied requirement (2), but failed miserably on Applix Mail is a horrible thing in an otherwise OK package. There are, however, a number of mail clients for *nix that are in the same class as ones available for other platforms. They have, however, a couple of drawbacks (which one, or both, depends on the package). Those drawbacks are: 1) Some of the best [1] ones are not free [2] 2) They are typically single-byte only (usually, just English). As a jumping-off point, go to the TLUG links page and check out Web Wanderer's Linux Application Page (or something to that effect; it's there). Also check Freshmeat periodically, of course. Cheers, Jonathan [1] "Best" is defined here as meeting the ease-of-use/interface quality you want. [2] "Not free" as in they cost money and aren't open source. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Next Nomikai: March 19 (Fri), 19:30 Tengu TokyoEkiMae 03-3275-3691 Next Technical Meeting: April 10 (Sat), 12:30 place: Temple Univ. ------------------------------------------------------------------- more info: http://tlug.linux.or.jp Sponsor: PHT
