tlug: Login Prob - No root?

Hi all,
Having major difficulty in loging in.

Login wont recognize "root" stating login is incorrect. No other user is abl
e to login either.

I tried #bash passwd root

no go. I also tried pwconv

nuh.

I cant even halt the system, and have to manually turn off the system.


Any ideas.help out there??
