In that case you might want to consider not installing X-windows (if you are comfortable with the command line) and not bothering with the Japanese extensions (unless your scripts specifically require them; or you need Japanese filenames). Just to make installation easier (also fewer things that could have a bug that compromises security). ... or maybe it won't (e.g. tcl/tk might require X to be installed, and python might require tcl/tk).
