Hi I want to build a new kernel using the source from www.kernel.org. What I want to know is if I want to patch the file linux-2.4.2.tar.gz do I only need to patch it with patch-2.4.2-pre4.bz2 or do I need to patch it with all the patches patch-2.4.2-pre4.bz2 patch-2.4.2-pre3.bz2 patch-2.4.2-pre2.bz2 patch-2.4.2-pre1.bz2 I have had a look in the Kernel HowTo but can someone please tell me the command/s I need to patch this/these file/s into the kernel.
