Interesting... I've switched to the nvidia driver yesterday and it's like this (after only a few hours running the screensaver...): PID USER PRI NI SIZE RSS SHARE STAT %CPU %MEM TIME COMMAND 25800 root 6 -10 169M 2800 2612 S < 0.1 2.2 26:04 XFree86 Physical mem is 128M. BTW I found the nvidia driver crashed even more often as the nv driver until I disabled all my wm* appletts... ^^; A client shouldn't crash the Server, right ? I was watching an avi (~25min) and it crashed like 3 times ? And to be really annoying it leaves the overlay on even if you restart the server so you can only see the mouse pointer over the overlay. Only thing that helps to disable it is to start mplayer again via a remote connection ^^; Then I just disabled the windowmaker appletts and it's been working fine since. -- Tobias PGP-Key: 0x9AC7E0BC
