I know they consider not putting messages you post to a mailing list in
your inbox a feature, saying it prevents clutter.  Searching through
that list at the time I discovered this "feature" I saw several emails
of complaint about it.  I wrote them twice, I believe, and received no
response.  (However, if you're following this thread, see Jim's comment
about email being lost in the shuffle.)
