Evan,I don't know if it is important, but in addition to your packages I also have cupsys-driver-gimpprint-dataDo you think it's a significant package? I tried downloading it via apt-get, and got this error message:dave@example.com:~$ sudo apt-get install cupsys-driver-gimpprint-data Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that the package is simply not installable and a bug report against that package should be filed. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies.cupsys-driver-gimpprint-data: Depends: cupsys-driver-gimpprint (= 4.2.7-10) but 4.3.99+cvs20051122.dfsg.1-2ubuntu1 is to be installedE: Broken packagesI never know what to do when I encounter a broken dependancy. Does that mean I don't get to have it?-- Dave M G
