Actually, I may have messed a bit with the capitalization. When it 
didn't work at first, I tried a couple of capitalization variants, and 
I'm not sure which one I reported to the list. In any case, none of them 
worked.

But the syntax you stated above, did work, at least in the sense that 
CUPS successfully started.

The bad news is that the printer still does not print, and the error 
output has changed slightly:

/etc/cups/subscriptions.conf - No such file or directory

I think line 30 is one of the lines we changed. But the subscriptions 
thing is a new one.
