Stephen,

Currently, the setting on my server is

AddDefaultCharset utf8

But to get kanji displayed correctly in my browser ( Win Xp SP2,
English, Mozilla Firefox 1.5.6  Japanese version ), I have to set
表示＞文字エンコーディング to Shift JIS.

I've changed AddDefaultCharset to jis on Apache, restarted it and
reload the page

but still no luck.

What's wrong?
