Also, note that SVG is still not well implemented by any software AFAIK (that news is about May 2007, though, maybe things are better now). The implication is that (a) you'll need to know what browsers actually do, but you can expect them to conform to W3C better over time ... which unfortuantely means known behavior will change. <HTML garbage trimmed ....>
