Yes.  I also tried pressing both the "set" and "reset" buttons on the  
back, which, now that I think about it, probably restored it to the  
factory settings.

Quite frankly, I'm a bit reluctant to mess with the box upstream that  
my ISP provides.  At the moment it is functioning properly (I'm  
connected directly to it now via the LAN cable), and I don't want to  
end up breaking that too (I have this nasty habit of doing such  
things. :-) ), rendering me completely offline, save for my iPhone's  
3G connection.
That said, it did come back up without a hitch when I restored my  
apartment's power, so perhaps...

As mentioned above, I have done that, and it's working fine, so the  
problem clearly lies with the wireless router.  Also, my iPhone no  
longer detects it, so I kind of doubt the Mac has anything to do with  
it.  It seems the wireless router is no longer emitting a signal.
At any rate, will you be at the bonenkai?  If so, perhaps we can  
discuss further before I take further action.
