Re: [tlug] Vietnamese Dvorak?

Hello,

2014-02-19 1:45 GMT+07:00 Jonathan Byrne <jonathan@example.com>:
Getting the Vietnamese IME isn't the problem; getting it to use my system default Dvorak keyboard mapping is the problem, because I don't do QWERTY (literally; I switched to Dvorak several years ago and now can no longer type on a QWERTY layout. I have to hunt and peck). For Japanese, there is a gear icon for settings, in which I can tell it to use the system default keyboard. No such icon with Vietnamese.

Dvorak works on Ubuntu and scim-unikey, ibus-unikey works with qwerty keyboard layout.

I never tried and I don't know a solution.

If tlug does not give you an answer, I suggest posting your problem to Vietlug on Facebook[1]
