The result is still unstable, and twice I found that Not being able to access archive.ubuntu.org is not uncommon. I sometimes have problems accessing the "main" Ubuntu repositories and then I end up picking another repository. I accept the fact that it is my system's problem after I try a few repositories... (Under Ubuntu and I think Debian, by editing /etc/apt/sources.list . Not sure about Mint.) > How can I just say "Boot from DVD!!" ? Exactly what Darren says about the DEL key. Some systems use one of the function keys like F10. For a system I'm not familiar with, I try to hit them all during the 0.25 seconds that the message appears! Reminds me of those old Whack-a-Mole games at the amusement centres... Surely someone can turn "Enter BIOS" into a smartphone game. :-) Ray
