Anybody out there running a Corega Ethernet card (model EtherII A-T or otherwise) with Linux? The price is low and their store display (I got mine at the Shinjuku T-Zone) specifically states that they work with both Linux and FreeBSD. So I put it in a machine that's going to be my stand-alone Linux box, install Red Hat 5. Well, Red Hat doesn't have it in the list of supported cards. Can anybody tell me what I should do to make this work? And if you say something like "compile a custom kernel," detailed instructions on doing that would be quite appreciated :-) Thanks, Jonathan --------------------------------------------------------------- Next Saturday Meeting: 14 February 1998 12:30 Tokyo Station Yaesu Chuo ticket gate. --------------------------------------------------------------- a word from the sponsor: TWICS - Japan's First Public-Access Internet System www.twics.com info@example.com Tel:03-3351-5977 Fax:03-3353-6096
