Are your > numbers in this ballpark? you know, in Japan it's almost impossible to ever get this kind of speed with ANY OS, windows included, just due to the internet infrastructure here... I *can* get a full 8.0kb/sec out of linux transferring compressed files, though, on a really good link... -------------------------------------------------- Scott M.
