...glad I wasn't the only one who had to take a few stabs at that;  we have a
server whos users connect from constantly changing domains out side of ours, but
then sendmail wouldn't let them send mail from their server because it was being
relayed; I did the same as you Frank; enabled relaying and then used the access_db
feature to block spammers/denyIPs;  it was documented, but in bits and pieces here
and there...  I wonder if the next edition of O'reilly's Sendmail will be out
soon...
