Does anybody know if the UK phone system uses RJ-11 jacks? I was just talking to somebody who insists the Hayes PCMCIA modem she brought from the UK has a cord that's too big for the Japanese jacks. But then she sometimes describes it the other way around, too. Of course, she also tried plugging the phone cord *right into the card* without the card modem's phone line adapter cord. So I really don't know what the heck she's talking about. Nor does she, I suspect. If anybody has experience with the UK phone system, gimme the skinny on this :-) TIA, Jonathan Byrne Media and Content Section 3Web - Your Internet Solution! <URL:http://www.threeweb.ad.jp/index.en.html> 3Web Channel <URL: http://www.3web.co.jp/index.en.html> --------------------------------------------------------------- Next Nomikai: 20 November, 19:30 Tengu TokyoEkiMae 03-3275-3691 Next Meeting: 12 December, 12:30 Tokyo Station Yaesu central gate --------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsor: PHT, makers of TurboLinux http://www.pht.co.jp
