If you turn on the CONFIG_PC110_PAD option in the 2.2.0 kernel (directly into the kernel, not a module), networking will fail miserably. If you have an Intel eepro100 board, it will hard lock the machine. If you can get it to boot, you can modprobe your network driver, but cat /proc/interrupts will show a pc110_pad on the IRQ that was assigned to your network card...
