tlug: modprobe: can't locate module lo:0

my /var/log/messages contains:

    Jul 19 00:08:38 laputa modprobe: can't locate module lo:0 
    Jul 19 00:08:38 laputa modprobe: can't locate module lo:1 
    [...]
    Jul 19 00:08:38 laputa modprobe: can't locate module lo:49 
    Jul 19 00:08:38 laputa network: Bringing up interface lo succeeded 
    Jul 19 00:08:38 laputa modprobe: can't locate module eth0:0 
    Jul 19 00:08:38 laputa modprobe: can't locate module eth0:1 
    [...]
    Jul 19 00:08:39 laputa modprobe: can't locate module eth0:49 
    Jul 19 00:08:39 laputa network: Bringing up interface eth0 succeeded

what does that mean? My network is working just fine in spite of these
error messages.

I am using Redhat Linux 6.0.
